Solved want to get original settings of C and G drive

Specs: Windows vista
I changed some files from C drive to G drive,, many programmes and players do not work,, I go back from G drive to C drive,, but some player, browsers, and like team viewer etc do not work or hide some where,, how can i get original file settings of C and G drive as it was,,,

Put the files back "exactly" where you found them and then run System Restore to just before you shifted them in the first place. To get to System Restore just type it in search.

If the above works out there is an inbuilt facility to resize partitions in Vista BUT I have never tried it personally:

You can move data (word docs, photos, videos, etc) from one partition to another but you can't move programs from one partition to another. They would have to be uninstalled from C then reinstalled again on G. Why did you attempt this?

As Derek said, move everything back exactly as it was. If the programs still don't work, try running System Restore - choose a date before you started moving stuff around. There's no guarantees it will work, it's possible you may have to reinstall some of the programs to fix the damage.
