vista wont load in any mode (safe, normal)

Specs: Windows Vista
Help! I dont have disks with my laptop, and im getting a blue screen message that there is a problem with the kernal32.dll file. Windows will not load in anyway. I have tried diagnostics, etc. What do I need to do to fix this?

you can use another PC and download and burn yourself a vista recovery disc.

Ok, I made the disc. I put it in the laptop, i turned on the computer, and its like i didnt even put a disc in. It went through all the same processes as before. I went into BIOS and changed the boot sequece to list my cd drive first. Upon reboot, I IMMEDIATELY got a message that windows was unable to load properly... what gives?

ok, i take that back. i made the wrong bit version disk. I made the correct one, changed the boot sequence, and its doign something now... we shall see if the problem is fixed.... i will follow up when i have results either way

update: after i realized i downloaded the wrong iso disk, I got teh right on, and happy to say my laptop is up and running. Thank you so much for your suggestion!
