June 8, 2011 at 09:57:14
Specs: Windows Vista
I changed the motherboard in my laptop Toshiba Satellite L505D. When I tried to install vista OS in it the installation does not complet . It went all thru the installation process but it stops at the last step completing installation without any progress. I waited the whole night maybe because it s slow but nothing happened. What would be the problem?

Where did you get the dvd from? Is it a microsoft vista dvd?

I guess you could check hardware with a ultimate boot cd. Can start with a vista dvd for memory diags. or use memtest.

I'd also check drives with good app.
