Vista DOS Command switches problem

my files turnd to shortcuts n i tried the command -h -r -s /s /d g:\*.* on an ealier post which didnt work on my vista. pls help i need to retrieve my file back.

"-h -r -s /s /d g:\*.*" These are switches not commands. You put them after a command like DIR...

dir g:\a*.* /s /b

as an example. What is it that you are trying to do?
