Specs: Windows Vista
AMD Athlon 64 3800+ 2.40GHz Processor
32-bit OS
Memory 1.00 GB

ACER space - 8.7/69.7 full
DATA space - 67.4/67.5 full

The desktop is roughly 4-6 years old now. Back in the day, it would be running smoothly and quickly, but at its current stand-off, it's slow as hell. The computer tends to freeze and crash a lot. When it does freeze, usually what's on the screen is smeared all over the desktop and looks fuzzy/pixelated. When it crashes, it's obviously the BSoD (Blue Screen of Death). When either of those events occur, I press the power button and turn off the computer. 5-10 minutes later, I boot it back on, but something happened that I did not expect. The computer would begin to beep, repeatedly of course, about every 2-4 seconds until I decide to press the power button again. When I do try to press the power button again, the beeping cycle continues.

I would have to wait about a week or two for the computer to finally work again, but 2-3 hours later, the crashing or freezing begins, and then the beeping once again takes over my computer. I unscrewed the slide on my computer and checked what was wrong. It was dusty, so I cleaned it up a little using some Dust-Off (Air canister). I turned it on again, same symptoms. I do not know how to fix this problem.

Can someone help please? Thanks, many thanks...

You say the hard drive is full? WOW!
Why not back up your data and re-install the operating system? Makes sense to me.

Some HELP in posting on plus free progs and instructions Cheers

No idea how to do both of those (backing data up and re-installing the OS).

Also, with the DATA space that full, it has never caused any problems like this before. It's been that full for roughly half a year now before it started acting up like this. My cousin downloaded some game onto the computer and this began happening. I instantly deleted the game and all traces of it, but I'm afraid my computer has taken its last beating... :(

Yeah... it doesn't work. When I try to do anything, the computer would freeze before anything is complete. I have no idea what to do now.
