Asus Laptop with intel pentium processor...

Specs: Windows Vista, 2GB
Hello

I am using windows vista with internet explorer 8. I get an error which says that a control activex must be installed to display a website. I would like to install that control activex. But the problem I am facing is that get a message telling me that this control activex cannot be installed unless I am logged in windows vista with a user which is part of the administrators group.

At the same time the user I am using is administrator but i do not know whether this is the same as being part of the administrators group.

Does anyone know what I have to do to be able to circumvent this problem that is preventing me from installing this control activex?

Thanks

administrator is a member of the administrators group.

You might want to get more info on this "control". Active X is restricted because it can be used to deliver payloads you don't want.

This is a reliable website from a public institution. What would you suggest then?

This is the site:
http://www.agenciatributaria.es/wps...

and then you clic on "Formulario del modelo 303 para su presentaciĆ³n
". It is right under the label "Sin certificado".

I guess that if you do this with Internet Explorer 8 and Windows Vista you might see the same problem I described.
Thanks
