Solved Unable to open links of subject line of email?

Specs: Windows Vista
When I get an email with a link in the subject line, I am unable to open it? I have a Vista OS and use Yahoo as my browser, which is based on IE.

Well a friend sent me an email with a Youtube link in the "Subject" line. (nothing in the body of the email)

Another friend of mine could not open it either, but he was able to copy and paste it in the address bar at the top of the window and open it.

I wasn't able to do either and requested that the sender resend it and this time put the link in the "body," and then there wasn't any problem.

Thanks for your response.

Were you ever able to do so? I don't use Yahoo so I'm not sure if you should
expect to be able to do this in the subject line.

You should be able to swipe the link and copy/paste it into your browser.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

No I've never done it before, but I'm being accused of being PC illiterate! Tried to copy and paste link, but to no avail. I'm giving up...

To be honest I don't think I've ever seen a link in the subject line. Anything is possible but it is not commonplace.
