What are you trying to install? Office 2010? office 2013? Other application?

The more details you give, the better.
What have you tried so far?

It probably is not a simple fix, you have corruption somewhere.

Run - Windows Repair

Disable your antivirus program before running Windows Repair.
How to Temporarily Disable your Anti-virus

Start at Step 1 ( very important ) do all the steps until you get to the final step ( Repairs ) Reboot when finished.
Right click on the exe & click on > Run as administrator. - Windows Repair (All In One) Tips (3) Run the repairs twice! (Run repairs, reboot, run repairs in Safe mode with Networking again)
How to use.

You're still running Vista? That in itself is a problem. Notice the market share - only 0.62% worldwide run Vista. You should seriously consider replacing Vista with Win7 or Win10.

Is Vista fully updated? Did you install SP1 & SP2 plus whatever other updates came after SP2? Are you using a browser other than Internet Explorer?

Have you tried reinstalling the poker software? >>

If you don't have CCleaner-Slim, download & install it, then run the cleaner & registry scanner - remove everything they find. Go to Tools > Uninstall & get rid of any programs you don't need, then go to Tools > Startup & disable all unnecessary startup apps. After taking all those steps, reboot. After the reboot, run the cleaner & registry scanner a 2nd time to catch anything that was missed. >>
