stop comp from networking

Microsoft Windows vista home premium w/s...

Specs: Windows Vista
My computer used to be on a home network mapping a server, it is no longer connected to that. It is still trying to see it every time I boot my computer up. How do I get into the Dos to stop it from doing it? I was not the one that wrote the dos code for it but I do understand how to get to dos. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you want you can use net command.

Might be easier just to un-map the drive. See help and support pages on how to map a drive. It will show how to delete a mapped drive.
