Is it possible that the water has short circuited the motherboard?

Is this a PS2 or USB keyboard? if PS2 try a USB one, if USB try plugging a different keyboard in another port.

You won't believe what I have spilt on my keyboard!!! Everything from soda to milk to water... this is not by choice... it was either a cat knocking it over... or someone tripping with the glass in hand!

We haven't had a problem with our key board... just some sticky keys...

We have a emachines keyboard (came with computer) so maybe try getting one of those...

try to let it dry for a few days... then try it... if it still doesn't work try to replace it... if that doesn't work... go to geek squad... speaking of which... i might need to take my puter there... damn monitor! can't find the frequency... but thats related to a different issue!
