What triggers the bugged state:
After waking windows back up from sleep mode (always right after this), some programs and parts of programs and some windows functions aren't working like they should, like there's some part of the code that can't be executed. It appears to occur within the first 4-6 times using sleep mode after reboot.
Examples:
Firefox or IE doesn't work at all, though chrome and opera works perfectly. The new MSN (crap) works... until I get to the part where it should show my contacts and stuff, where it start mess up. When I click the battery icon, the window where I can change power usage shows up as usually, but it cannot be clicked on at all. If I restart explorer this window will work again, but will unfix if I lock and unlock again. The "--- has stopped working/ not responding/restarting ---..." window won't show up.Any ideas what could cause this? It started occuring a few weeks ago, and I have no idea what caused it (when exactly it started occuring). Feel free to ask for more examples if you think you have a clue of what the problem is =) the problem doesn't seem to go away by itself..
Did you install any thing like an Anti-Virus a few weeks ago?
No, the last anti-virus related thing I did was uninstalling avast! since I also got MSE. I now only use MSE. I haven't recently installed anything either.. =/
Well I would Run a Windows Update and uninstall Firefox and reinstall it.
LoL how is that going to help.. however I think I found the problem.
After I terminated the default background process "C:\Program Files\Lenovo\Camera Center\bin\CameraApplicationLaunchpadLauncher.exe", the problem was fixed.
Why? I have no idea, but I'm definitely going to remove it from msconfig-->start up
