Solved Some pages not loading

August 7, 2012 at 18:31:35
Specs: Windows Vista, HP Pavilion
I can view most websites/web pages, but not all of them. For example, I tried to go to the comast website to pay my bill. I can go to the site, but not the bill pay page. Same thing happening with other sites. I'll be on the site but the page won't fully load and it'll have the triangle ! in the corner saying done. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks.

"Everything is working in Pale Moon!!!"

Ok, that tells us it is an IE problem.

HTML Parsing Error: unable to modify the parent container element before the child element is closed KB927917

There are trillions of errors out there, you need to use Google to find them. Here is a start, with a bit of luck, my link will be the one needed.

I use Pale Moon, don't use IE.

Things to try.

1: If you are using Internet Explorer, check the security settings.

2: To isolate the problem, try another browser.
Pale Moon

3: Clean out your cookies, you may have corruption.

4: Run TFC
http://oldtimer.geekstogo.com/TFC.exe
http://www.itxassociates.com/OT-Too...
Please double-click TFC.exe to run it. (Note: If you are running on Vista/Windows 7, right-click on the file and choose Run As Administrator).
It will close all programs when run, so make sure you have saved all your work before you begin.
Click the Start button to begin the process. Depending on how often you clean temp files, execution time should be anywhere from a few seconds to a minute or two. Let it run uninterrupted to completion.
Once it's finished it should reboot your machine. If it does not, please manually reboot the machine yourself to ensure a complete clean.

Thank you for the suggestions, however, they did not work. And now I can't even get to this page from my computer (good thing for two computers). Again, I can get to the computing.net website, but when I try and log in to view my question, I get the blank screen with error message. The error message states: HTML Parsing Error: unable to modify the parent container element before the child element is closed (KB927917)
Mycomputing.pl

Let me know if you have any other suggestions and I'll try them out. Thanks!

Do you get the same error in Pale Moon?

Everything is working in Pale Moon!!! Thanks! Do you have any idea what could be causing certain webpages to not load correct in Internet Explorer or is there something I can 'reset' to clear anything that would be causing this problem? Thank you so much!

Also, when you said to check my security settings - they are on medium security. Is that where they should be? Thank you.
