Specs: Vista Ultimate, SP2, 3.0Ghz/2Ghz
Does anyone know what version of Chrome Slimjet 11 is based on? Reason I ask is because Google is going to end Gmail support for versions of Chrome 53 and earlier sometime in 2018.

Slimjet 11 & Chrome 53 are both based on the Chromium engine.

It's time to dump Vista & install either Win7, Win10, or possibly Linux. Problem solved. You're not doing yourself any favors by clinging to an OS that's no longer supported & was never very good to begin with. You can't expect hardware & software manufacturers to continue supporting an outdated OS that is used by less than 1% of the worldwide market. Sorry, it's time to move on.

Since that chart is for desktop systems only, it doesn't tell the full story about how prevalent Linux is in the market. Android is Linux, Chrome OS is Linux, Roku is Linux, Fire OS is Linux, many ATM machines are moving to Linux, many web servers use Linux, the US military uses Linux, etc. And as of a year ago, the world's fastest supercomputer uses Linux. In other words, it would make sense to learn it.
