.shs files (scrap objects)

February 9, 2011 at 15:35:34
Specs: Windows Vista
I copied and pasted scrap objects from a pc using windows 2003 business. to my personal pc using windows vista. when I try to view them it brings up a balloon noting that it cann't open the file possibly due to it not being decoded before sent via email or, etc....How can I decode it or whatever so that I can save this information. the scraps are NEC electric code articles and it took time to create these for reference.

See this (just the text):

http://www.file-extensions.org/shs-...

You have to drag them from the desktop into a document or workbook. You could use an empty doc file, with spacing, then save them as a document or several documents.

[They are created by dragging from a doc to the desktop, and do no normally show the shs extension in Vista]
