Echoing phil22 - definitely safeguard your personal files at least; copy them to DVD (at least) and ideally to an external hard drive too is nice(r). Make two sets of DVD. Verify whichever copies you make are accessible etc. before proceeding to resolve the problems as posted.
"showing d drive full but it is not" Are you sure? Do you have "show hidden files & folders" enabled? Is "hide protected OS files" disabled?
