Did you try "right-clicking" the desktop and choosing graphic properties (or something similiar) and choosing a higher screen resolution? Check for any other settings in there that might alter the display. If that don't work, right click "My Computer" and choose properties and then choose Device Manager. Check the display adapter to see if there is a yellow mark or red "x". Try uninstalling the device and restarting the computer and let windows reinstall the device and drivers. I hope this helps.
