Specs: Windows Vista
I was cleaning up my flash drive and suddenly a very important folder was missing. Thinking I had somehow accidentally deleted it, I hit Ctrl+Z to undo my last action. This caused a different folder, which I had intentionally deleted, to reappear. Ctrl-Z several times, same thing happens. The folders that reappeared had originally existed in the very important folder, and I was working in it while deleting them, so it's not possible I deleted it . . but where did it go? It has all my schoolwork from the past three years in it, and many files that I still access regularly and depend on!

When I view the drive, 8.15 GB of it is "used space." The remaining folders in it take up almost exactly that much, so does that mean that the missing folder is not recoverable? I mean, if it's not taking up space, it's just not there, right? What can I do??

Dont add anything else to the drive then download a data recovery program and point it to that drive.

Download and install. It should find all the files for you

I already tried Recuva and PC Inspector with no results. Unfortunately, by hitting Ctrl-Z and undoing my last actions, I restored several files to the drive before I realized what was going on. Any other suggestions? Thanks for the help so far.
