Rtl8139(x) / 8130/ 810x

I am having a problem with my desktop, it displays a realtek rtl8139 (x)/8130/810X PCI fast ethernet controller v2.16 message and it won't let me do anything. It stays on that message, doesn't load. Please help.

Start Windows in Safe Mode & re-install the ethernet network driver (you can download it from your PC maker's website if the network adapter is "on-board".

Thank You !! I was able to do that, but now a message that says, "You have used the system Configuration Utility to make changes the way Windows starts." and even when I choose the Normal Startup, my computer still does not change to the old settings, Some of my programs have been disabled, I tried to do the System Restore, but it only displays today's date. It doesn't display earlier dates. Can you please help me revert the msconfig changes.

Go here and download the correct driver for your system. I always use the driver from this site.
