Restored to Factory Defaults; no internet now

Specs: Vista, 3.00GB
I got a virus a few days back, deleted it, but was receiving a blue screen error while trying to boot normally. I decided to reinstall windows with the 2 disks that came with my computer. After a long process last night, I finally got my laptop to boot up normally after restoring it. Now... for some reason I can't connect to the internet at all. I've tried resetting my router/modem twice but nothing works.

I've got a Toshiba. Model - Satellite l305d, 32 bit Windows Vista.

I'm almost positive it's a driver, but I just need to find out where the driver is because when I look at my network drivers they're both there... and it appears no red X's or yellow !'s are there. In addition, while booted in safe mode, I still can't get on the internet so I know it's not my anti virus.

I just need to know where to download the driver and is it safe to put it on a flash drive?

In addition, while booted in safe mode,

You need safe mode with networking in order to get online.
What happens if you connect to your router using an ethernet cable?

Some HELP in posting on Computing.net plus free progs and instructions Cheers
