Hi all,
Thanks in advance.
I have a two year old sony vaio vgn-cr19vn, over the years i have downloaded and used a variety of programs and games, i now know which ones i would like to keep and which i dont. My real question is when i do a full factory restore will i lose all the programs on my laptop, namely photoshop, and some smaller ones i have downloaded. The laptop also comes with a built in cam and prtector suite fringer print scanner will these driversstill be operational. There have been updates but I will be able to update these once i get back online. I also have the full microsoft office suite, the beta version, that i downloaded from the microsoft website will it be poss to get this again without having to subscribe?
Is it poss to burn these programs to a disk to then reinstall afterwards. I am resonably proficient with the laptop but this is just beyond my knowledge and i am just getting confused by the amount of different info in all of the forums.

I hope this all makes sense,
Cheers somerled

Bottom line is you need to re-install the Programs...

Regards Office 2010, the Beta runs out shortly so would suggest you purchase if you still need it

The Sony will have all the drivers included in the Full Factory Restore, but you can use the Sony Updater Software to update to a later versions of software/drivers..

Also you will need to re-install Windows Vista Service Pack 1 and 2 via Microsoft Update
