Reset local adapter to get online

May 17, 2010 at 00:10:36
Specs: Windows Vista Home Premium
Every time I go to my computer, I have to go through the rigmarole of resetting the local adapters to get online.

Every time I'm told there's a problem, click fix, and then hit the reset adapters link, which solves the problem. It's particularly annoying if I'm trying to use the wireless laptop downstairs!

Can anyone help, please?

Thanks so much in advance,

Try changing the router configuration to non-expiring IP addresses.

post the results of an ipconfig /all before and after you run the fix for review
