Product Key for MS Office 2007 Home & Student

Microsoft Office 2007 home and student

Specs: Windows Vista
I have a Compaq Presario and the product key is
listed on the bottom of te modem as but when I typed it
in my computer said "incorrect". How do I get the
right product key for microsoft office home and
student?

that sounds like the vista key not the key for office.

where is your office cd???????? Was this preinstalled?

sounds like it was a trial for Office. You will have to BUY the software in order to activate it. Most new PC's come with a trial and NOT the activated version.

Oh, also, it's not a modem....it is a tower ;-)

I agree with XPuser, preinstalled versions are trial only, you have to buy the software to be able to keep using it.

Does it say MS Office? I'd think the modem might have some other key. The Office key ought to be on a card that came with the documentation if it isn't a trial. Look in the stuff you got with the computer maybe.

If worse comes to worse take a look at OpenOffice.org's office suite.
