after my desktop presario windows vista did a update, shut itself down, the next morning i was going to cut it on but, the power button was dead nothing, but there was a green light on the back on the unit that on on.
Do you know what it might be, first time I ever had trouble with this computer.

If your pressing the power button and nothing is happening but your getting a green light on the power supply (which is a good sign), then I think your motherboard might have fried. I hate to say it but this is common with Windows Vista machines.. WV is a mistake that should have never went public.
I could be wrong, but.. hopefully some other people might have somemore suggestions I didn't think of.
