Google Chrome can often take a while to establish a connection and download pages the first time it is launched in a Windows session, so you may just have to allow more time. Subsequent launches in a Windows session are usually much quicker.

Hello!
My problem is however, the PC refuses to let it load, it starts to load (as can see with the wait icon beside the mouse, but then it disappears and its as though I haven't clicked anything.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled it many times.

Did you get the download as a file and Save it rather than running it? If not try that, double click the saved download to install. If that doesn't work let us happens when you try and give us any error messages produced.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
