See if the SAN Disk is in disk management. Start run diskmgmt.msc

Hi histodiva,

Click Start > Control Panel > Personalize (or right-click on the desktop and select Personalize) > choose the link for “Change Desktop Icons” on the left side.

Chose the icons you want back on the desktop by checking the box next to the name and click apply.

Thanks & Regards

✔ Best Answer
I don't think histodiva is talking about the desktop. Try this:

Right click the taskbar at the bottom of the screen.
Select Properties > Start menu tab > Customize button at top.

On the next screen see "Computer" and put a check mark in "Display as a link".

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Hi yall,
I did what you said, but there's still no "computer" when I hit start and not on the desk top either. I had to go to "help and support" and type in computer and follow the links there.
Any other ideas? My HP is about 6 yrs. old.
Appreciate!

Guapo,
I followed your instructions and it showed me a screen with a bunch of tabs, reading from left, says "C" , volume, free space, running ok etc.
I don't know what all that means. Thanks.
