My computer is only 4 months old and I am getting an intermittent no signal message on my monitor. I am able to boot up but when the computer sits for a bit I get a no sign message again and have to re-boot to get the computer working again. I switched monitors and it is doing the same thing with a new monitor so it is not a monitor issue. I don't really have the option to send the computer back to Acer for repair (as they suggest) since I use it daily for work. Is there anything I can check or replace myself to get it working properly? Do I need to download a vista driver or could it be a bad video card and if so what do I do to fix that? Is the video card an expensive fix? I am kinda bummed because the computer is relatively new... Thanks so much!!
It could be the video card. But you should really send it back. If you start playing with it, they could void the warranty on you. My suggestion is to borrow a laptop or something. copy you files onto it. Then send the PC back to acer.
