During the boot process, press F8 then select "Last Known Good Configuration".

Tried but won't let me use F8. Goes straight to Windows with only choices Start Windows normally, or Safe Mode or Safe Mode with networking ot Safe Mode with Command Prompt. Tried F8 in Safe Mode with Command Prompt...no luck. Any other ideas?

That screen your seeing is what you get when you hit F8. Look closely at that screen. One of the options will be to use Last Known Good Configuration

I can only go to the hp invent screen which gives me the options of Esc for the Boot Menu, F10 for Setup, and F11 for system recovery. None of these options allow the F8 feature. Also, if I do nothing, it goes to the Windows Error Recovery screen which only allows the Safe Mode options or the Start Windows Normally. I can not access the F8 feature.
