New HDD, boot failure...

Specs: Vista Ultimate, Q6600 / 4GB OCZ
Hi,

I installed a new harddrive (WD Velociraptor 150GB) and put it in together with my old one(Maxtor 250GB SATAII) which i have vista installed on...

I then installed vista on the new drive and after the install i got a dual boot screen which lets me choose bitween the old and new drive..

But, whenever i make my new drive the primairy boot device OR if i remove the old drive entirely, the new Vista install on the raptor no longer works, i get an error saying "HARD DISK FAILURE INSERT SYSTEM DISK PRESS ENTER" when booting..
When i put the old drive back in and make that the primairy device again it works again(with dual boot screen)

So how do i make it boot independently from my new HDD?

Thanks in advance:)

OK nevermind, i fixed it...

This is what i did: I set my new drive to "active" in disk mannagement and removed my old HDD...

Inserted the vista DVD, booted from that and ran system repair, it detected a boot problem, but after reboot it still hung..

Then i tried system repair once more, this time showing a different screen where i just clicked next, then rebooted and it worked fine!
