When you try to go online what exactly happens and at what point does it fail?

Also look in "Device Manager > Network adapters" and let us know if any errors are showing (usually yellow icons).

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

"but not newer"
Do you mean you can't connect to recently added networks? What happens when you try?

In Device Manager, expand out to the item with the error then right click it and select Uninstall. If it asks whether you want to remove software say NO. Next restart the computer.

This is not an Uninstall in the usual sense of the word. What it does is break the link between the installed software and the device. When you restart it sees the device as new hardware and sets it up again. Sometimes this can help.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
