My uninstaller deleted my msi package. cant update virus defs. cant even do a restore. thanks so much!

Do you have a virus? What anti-virus app are you using? What did you uninstall?

I use avg total protection. i uninstaled some toshiba games that came with my laptop. since i uninstalled them with my uninstaller 2010, my problems started. no msi, no volume shadow copy, no updates. thx in advance. :)

Anything you want back has to be installed. I didn't see any undo function.
The only other thing to try is recuva.

There is a small chance that deleted files can be recovered. However, with every boot, every write to the hard drive reduces those chances.

Thx a lot. i haven't rebooted or done anything but browsing. This came on fast. i have never, had bad luck using revo uninstaller before this. i will try your link. i appreciate your help.

Son of a gun, the files were overwrtten. I guess I cant download MS Installer? I got my volume shadow copy working, it was stopped. Thx :)

Were you unable to download V4.5 from the link in #6?

If the problem is downloading then you could download the file on another computer (Save rather than Run) then take it to yours using a Flash Drive.
