Acer / 5050-3371

Specs: Windows vista, 1 GB
5 minutes after i started the windows screen is going black as if it is sleeping. When i press some keys the log in screen is appearing again. Then 5 minutes after again the screen is going black and it is not showing anything.
I am shutting down from the power button.
I checked power settings, I checked the fan , i don't know, i even changed the hard disk. I installed the vista again. But problem is still continuing. When I try to use Ubuntu CD to log in just from cd drive, same the ubuntu is loading but again the screen is going black and coming back. Ubuntu is not installed it is just from the cd.

Check your BIOS for power settings that have nothing to do with Windows.

You're welcome.

Hope that resolves it.
