Did you look at the power options in the control panel? You should be able to reset it.

How about posting the make/model of your system?

"My computer goes in energy save mode as soon as I turn it on"

I doubt your system is going into energy safe mode, your monitor isn't receiving a video signal from the tower. Explain exactly what appears on your screen when you power on from a complete shutdown. Assuming you have a store bought system (Acer, Dell, Compaq, HP, etc), do you see a splash screen before it goes into "energy save mode"? Do you hear any beeps?

My computer goes into energy safe mode as soon as I turn it on. (Dell Inspiron) The screen is black except for the message that is going into energy safe mode. The message stays on for about 20 seconds and the monitor is in sleep mode. I plugeed this computer into another monitor and I got the same message.

"Dell Inspiron"

Is that the best you can do? Do you know how many different Inspiron models there are? And what is Windows 64? Is it XP, Vista, Win7 or Win8? I'm guessing Vista but you wouldn't be the 1st to post in the wrong forum.

"My computer goes into energy safe mode as soon as I turn it on"

Your computer is NOT going into "energy safe mode", your monitor is. And it's doing so because it isn't receiving a video signal from the tower. You have a hardware problem NOT a software problem. You already know the monitor is good so the problem is obviously with something inside the tower.

"I do not here a beep"

There you go. You should hear a beep (or beeps). The fact that you hear none most likely means something major has failed - CPU, motherboard, or power supply. We can't tell you which one is causing the problem, you need to troubleshoot. Does your system have diagnostics LEDs?
