Specs: Windows Vista
When I entered a cd in the CD drive it wont be readable. Nothing would pop up on the screen. How do I fix this problem?

Put in the CD then go to "Computer" and see if the drive is visible - see if you can explore the disk. If so, it's just not popping up which can easily be sorted it you pop back.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Yes, it's likely just that you have the setting disabled for it to automatically notify you.

Is the CD/DVD Drive itself recognized in Devices?

Is this an internal drive or an external drive?

Have you always had this drive (the problem has recently appeared) or is it a new addition?

Will the system boot from a bootable cd? If no, likely the cdrom is bad. If yes it's probably a windows setting.

Don't forget to preorder your Hatch green chili for this fall. Many vendors ship world-wide.
