Multimedia Audi Controller

Specs: Windows Vista
I was given a computer it is a Dell Latitude D610 that was used for a business and it had Windows XP Professional on it and I installed Vista on it and now I don't have any sound and I have tried to add drivers to update the Multimedia Audo Controller but it is still not working I keep getting error message Code 28 and it says there is No Audio Output Device is installed. I have exhausted every avenue I can think of please help!!!

Processor: Intel(R)Pentium(R)M processor 1.60GHz 1.60GHz

Memory(RAM): 1527MB
System Type: 32-bit Operating System

I really am going crazy trying to figure this out.

Download ASTRA32 >> Install + open it >> go to "System Summary" tab on the left >> Look for an item "Sound Card Model" on the right >> Post the results here....

edit: Nevermind I figured it out! All I can say is you are AWESOME! My audio works now. Thank you so much for taking the time to figure this out... I was getting so frustrated with this! YOU ROCK!
