you write that you tried different monitors/video cards but not what the results were. I would guess the same?
You would first connect the monitor in question to another pc to test as good. If good that points to the pc. If you have no difference with a different video card [you don't say if the original video card is built in or not] and you have eliminated hardware conflicts with the new video card, and you don't even get the bios screen...
Your mainboard is faulty or dead.
Might just reseat everything [ram/cpu/cards/power connectors] to see if that makes a difference.
