Many urgent problems, HELP!!!

Specs: Windows 7/Windows Vista (Dual boot), 512 RAM
Hello!

I have some problems listed below. If you would like to reply to one, put the number first on what question I have.

1. After a few minutes, my desktop turns black!!! Why is this? Do I have a virus?
2.Ever since I dual booted Windows Vista and 7, my D: drive has not been working! If I put in a disc, it does not do anything, and it says "Please insert a disc to drive D:." Please help!!!
3.How do I get rid of one of the OS's from dual boot??

1. could be a virus or a hardware issue
2. listed in device manager as OK ?
3. which do you want gone and how did you do/install your multiboot?

512meg ram is not enough for vista or win7 imo

2. I will let you know soon when I get home
3. Its OK, right after I posted this post, I got rid of it by taking off the boot list, then formating it, and finally deleted the partition.
P.S. To fix your opinion, I am getting 512 MB of RAM very soon because I already ordered it.. like... yesterday!:D
