Specs: Windows Vista, 3 GB
I have installed Microsoft Indic Language Tool for hindi on Windows Vista Service Pack 2 and inadvertently, I unchecked language bar. I have tried all the options as described by microsoft for installation of additional language by enabling all fields under KEYBOARD AND LANGUAGES and the language bar neither floats or appear on the task bar. Please help me to reinstall.reactivate language bar and floating of language bar so that I may change at will whenever required.

It maybe unchecked in the startup. Click start, run, type msconfig, press enter, go to the startup tab. If it's there make sure that it's checked. Click apply, ok & restart. Click ok again after it restarts.

Dear Guopo,

I am grateful to you for answering my problem regarding language bar. As advised you, I have followed it and language bar does not appear in the Startup window. Other all programmes in the startup are, however, enabled. As already stated in my problem, it is also not appearing in the task bar. Can you help me further.

Thanking you,

CSMIDHA

As per your guidance, I have tried the link of Microsoft and I have got a message that this may not be applicable to my window i.e. vista and I have been advised to try another link. However, I have tried both - yours as well as new link of Microsoft. The language does not appear either on startup or taskbar. Is there any link for windows vista or website of microsoft for reinstallation of Language Bar.

Thanking you,,CSMIDHA
