Java will not update needs elevation

April 28, 2011 at 08:50:57
Specs: Windows Vista
I have followed the instructions previously given to another site user on how to slove same issue and it has not worked. The solution was to make myself an administrator which i have always been as such for this computer and the problem has remained so i'm stuck for an answer. Any help would be much appreciated.

You should not have to make yourself an admin.

What exactly is the problem?

1/3 of highway deaths are caused by drunks. The rest are by people who can't drive any better than a drunk.

Usually you can download the program and then use runas. It should have asked for password of admin. Some apps seem to hide that password box behind other boxes. Might have to use alt+tab to see if it is hidden.
