|What is this Cache Size you are talking about ? If it is the L1 cache of CPU, you cannot increase it. It is fixed on the CPU. Unless you upgrade the CPU on your notebook, you cannot do anything for L1 cache size. |
Several years ago, there was a belief that some operating systems could not detect the L1 / L2 cache size of the CPU and it was a good idea to set the correct value in registry.
Now I suggest you download CPU-Z and check if your CPU cache size is read correctly.
You can find CPU-Z HERE. Make sure you download the right version x86/x64 for your OS.
