"I do not even know how to find the pictures"

Use UltraSearch. After installing, down the bottom, uncheck C: & check your removable drive. Put into search > jpeg, or if you can remember the photo names/keywords.

UltraSearch. Go into Options & make sure Include Folders is checked.

Go to Computer, then double click your external hard drive. At the top right put in this:
*.jpg

Most pictures have a jpg extension so it should show every picture you have on there and their locations. Otherwise, if you know where they might be then browse the disk to find their names instead. Once you have found them copy/paste or drag and drop them to wherever you want.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
