IE9 beta missing ieframe.dll can't uninstall

September 30, 2010 at 04:38:56
Specs: Windows vista
Internet explorer 9 beta was added and now im getting ieframe.dll error

when i remove explorer 9 i cannot replace it with explorer 8. It states there is a newer version already on computer. Some component of that program is still in computer although it states successfully removed.

Can someone help either show where/how to re-add missing .dll or reinstall an older version of explorer?

thank you

There is one way-I have uninstalled Internet Explorer permanently from my Windows 7 laptop. Not turned it off in Windows features menu-I have actually uninstalled it. But it was difficult as first I had to change the ownership of the Trusted Installer file Internet Explorer on my computer hard drive in programs to my name. After that I was able to delete the whole file with the help of a tool called UNLOCKER which I downloaded from the Internet. The whole file was deleted and now IE is uninstalled and no longer on my computer but my computer is not effected by this. And my other web browsers Green browser which people say runs off IE but in reality runs off of a Windows component used also in IE but this is nothing to do with the IE browser. Avant browser and others are also working fine on my system and I have other web browsers,Google Chrome, flock. So I do not need Internet Explorer anyway which causes so many problems. IE cannot be uninstalled in programs menu and uninstall the update and this will not remove it. You will just get the earlier version. So by deleting the IE file on your hard drive, delete the file delete the program. I have no regrets about uninstalling IE and i have never looked back since. Andrea Borman.
