I have an empty file on my desktop that will

Specs: Windows Vista
I have a file on my desktop that will not delete. When I run my mouse over it, it says the file is empty, and when I open the file, it says that it is empty. However, when I go into properties, it says it is 16.0 KB in size and contains 1 file and 4 folders.

I have tried renaming it, deleting it in safe mode, and changing ownership. I have tried to drag it to the recycle bin, and even tried changing the location. I have run scan disk, and check disk and most other diognostic tools but it will not go away. And yes, I have even re-booted.

It keeps telling me that I do not have permission to perform this action, yet I am the only "user" on this computer, and I am running as the administrator.

Does anyone have any further ideas that I can try? Thanks ahead of time.
