i am doing a system recovery got as far as admin password but it wont accept any i have tried plz help me as have tried everything
did you just aquire this laptop or CD?
If you are the owner, just leave the password blank and hit enter. That will allow you to get in.People that don't know their passwords are usually trying to crack a stolen unit and on laptops, that is impossible. It is a security feature.
Don't bother trying any paid programs saying they can retreive or unlock your password, they do not work and you would just be wasting your money.

it is computer i have had a few years but was crashing all the time so did a sys recovery and need admin password i have tried leaving it blank no luck
open the side cover (have your PC unplugged) and locate the silver battery on the motherboard, it is about the size of a nickel, pop it out carefully and leave out for about 30 seconds.
Pop it back in, boot up your computer and the password should be gone. Some HELP in posting on Computing.net plus free progs and instructions Cheers
