O.K. Please go on and install it. Who is stopping you ?
If you want to know that you can install and run Vista without any problems, then you should visit Toshiba web site and check for proper drivers for your model laptop.
By the way what OS is installed in your laptop now ?
If Toshiba release drivers, that means there is support from Toshiba. Otherwise, you will have to work hard to find drivers for the hardware in the laptop.
In most cases, basic drivers that come with Windows Vista may be sufficient, but who knows ?
Hope the above helps.
