How do I hide a single system tray icon without stopping the programe to run?

This general program might not be launched by the user, it might just be run now and then putting the typical icon on the system tray whenever it runs.

Is there any way to hide this icon when this kind of program is launched?
I have tried by right clicking on the left bottom clock, properties, notification area, customize, hide but it does not work because the icon keeps showing up there.

I have read that document but I still have no idea about how I could hide any icon put by any program on the system tray. Let's say for example you want to hide the icon showed on the system tray by acronis when it is launched according to an agenda to make a backup.
Any idea?
