Is it any way possible to format a CD-R? I have tried searching for answers but most of them say its not possible. I have found ways that show it is possible but it doesn't work for me. Any help is much appreciated.
I'm not sure why you would want to. A CD-R can only be filled once, and cannot then be re-used - formatting it wouldn't help even if it allowed it. What is it you are intending to do, writing to it file at a time from new by copy/paste or drag & drop perhaps? With a CD-RW formatting it has some benefits for those who want to use it "as you go", like a flash drive. Reformat (or Delete) also makes it useable again to its full capacity,
Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
