my computer turns on but no display on the monitor, so i plug in my computer then connected it to my monitor using vga and then i turn on my pc then i can hear the fan nose and stuff but there is not display on my monitor and for sure there is nothing wrong with my monitor.
Can you test with another (known to be good/working) monitor? Similarly can you connect and thus test your monitor on another working computer? Also make and model of your computer is always useful information.
Please post the make/model of your computer. At this point, we don't even know if it's a desktop or laptop. Are you seeing anything on the screen at all - Acer splash screen? Blinking cursor? Any beeps coming from the tower? Power LED coming on? HDD activity LED flashing?
If you never ever see anything at all on the screen then you almost certainly have a hardware fault, which would require the computer to be taken apart to fix it (assuming the screen/monitor is OK). Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
