How to correct a format in a laptop??

Specs: Windows 7
Hello ..i started a format on my Laptop and in the middle of the progress my Laptop shut down because of an electricity shut down..now i open my pc and it stuck in a point saying that a folder is missing and no progress at all.. The point is that i dont have a Windows CD because i bought my Laptop from a store without it..and legal....


I had Windows Vista in 32bit

A format will wipe the hard drive so how did you format ?

one way would be to remove the drive, use a usb caddy or usb adapter and reformat the drive on another PC.
