How do you uninstall Google Toolbar?

October 19, 2010 at 23:56:19
Specs: Windows Vista
I installed the Opera Browser on my computer and the toolbar develped by Gabe de Wilde (the GoogleToolBar) and now I can't get it uninstalled since it says it isn't found under add/remove programs. How do I get rid of it? I am not very computer savvy, so step-by-step instructions would be great. Thanks a lot!!

Double-click on "Tools" and when the drop-down list loads, click on "Manage Add -Ons". A page should load and you need to find "Add-on Types" in the upper left corner of the page. Under this heading you should see "Toolbars and Extensions". Click this and you should see the toolbars that you have on your computer in a column to the right. I don't think that you can uninstall "Google Toolbar", but you can at least disable it. And, if you decide that you want it back for some reason, you can enable it.
