May 15, 2013 at 09:25:47
Specs: Windows Vista
When I print it always prints front and back of the paper. I only want it to print on one side. I want it to default to only one side printing.

It will be the 2155cdn that you have (the 'd' stands for 'duplex). You can specify whether the machine prints on both sides for faxes, copies and normal printing - the settings are under the relevant sections for each section of the properties dialogue boxes (in devices, right-click the printer and choose 'properties' to display the printer properties options). Where it mentions 'duplex, you want to toggle it to 'off'. If you need the manual, which has specific instructions for your printer, it's available from http://downloads.dell.com/Manuals/a...

If you don't bother telling us which printer it is that you are using then there's no way you can expect to get a precise answer. All I can say is that there will probably be a setting within the 'properties' dialogue box for your printer that lets you choose single or double-sided - often called 'Duplex' - untick that box and you should get single-sided printing.
